The spherical scanner module carries built-in retroreflective markers, allowing the wireless tracker to monitor the scanner’s position in real time — so tracking mode works without placing any markers on the object itself. In handheld scanner mode, feature-rich surfaces are captured with smooth, marker-free laser scanning. The system handles black and reflective surfaces such as car rims effortlessly without data loss, and remains reliable indoors and outdoors under strong light of up to 110,000 lux.
Three scanning modes for diverse needs. Nineteen-plus-nineteen crossed laser lines acquire high-quality data from large objects quickly, delivering workflow efficiency and scanning flexibility. Seven parallel laser lines capture lines and sharp edges on automotive components with greater clarity, reaching a point distance of up to 0.05 mm. A single laser line reaches deeper to capture fine details with a 1:4 diameter-depth ratio, supporting applications such as vehicle reverse engineering. With a scan speed of up to 2,630,000 points/s, resolution from 0.05 to 10 mm, and volumetric accuracy up to 0.1 mm, the EinScan Trak covers everything from small parts around 5 cm to vehicle-sized objects within a 15 m³ tracking volume.
