Pick the mode for the job: laser when the detail matters, infrared when the object is big, dark or needs to be captured fast.

Infrared VCSEL captures up to 4,800,000 points per second with a wider working range — the mode for large objects, dark surfaces and fast surveys where coverage beats micro-detail.

How much is the EINSTAR 2 in Malaysia?

RM5,500, in stock and shipped on the next business day. Volume, education and bundled-service pricing is quoted on request.

Do I need a powerful computer?

The scanner is wireless, but processing runs in EXStar Hub on a computer. Tell us the laptop or workstation you plan to use and we will check it against the published requirements before you buy.

Wi-Fi or cable?

Both. True wireless over Wi-Fi is the default; a cable connection is available where Wi-Fi interference is heavy, such as a factory floor.

Can it scan black or shiny parts?

Yes — black and reflective surfaces are captured without matting spray, which is one of the main reasons buyers pick this model over an older structured-light scanner.

Can I scan people?

The infrared mode is eye-safe and the workflow is designed for portrait and body capture, including full-body data in about 60 seconds.

What support comes with it?

Supply, setup and demonstration from Trinventor Solution in Kuala Lumpur, plus local training, calibration and after-sales support.
