Bambu Lab X1: The Next Generation of 3D Printing

Bambu Lab Malaysia Official Partner

The Bambu Lab X1 is a next-generation 3D printer that offers a range of features and benefits that make it ideal for both beginners and experienced users alike. With its automatic bed leveling system, ability to print with multiple colors and materials, and high speed and smoothness, the X1 is the perfect 3D printer for anyone who wants to create high-quality prints quickly and easily.

Automatic Bed Leveling

One of the most important features of the X1 is its automatic bed leveling system. This system ensures that the print bed is always perfectly level, which is essential for getting high-quality prints. Traditional 3D printers require users to manually level the print bed before each print, which can be a time-consuming and frustrating process. The X1’s automatic bed leveling system takes all the guesswork out of the process, so you can spend less time leveling the bed and more time printing.

Multiple Colors and Materials (X1-Carbon Combo)

The X1 is also capable of printing with multiple colors and materials. This opens up a whole new world of possibilities for makers and designers. For example, you can print multi-colored objects, such as toys or models, or you can print objects with different materials, such as ABS and PLA. The X1’s ability to print with multiple colors and materials makes it ideal for a wide range of applications.

High Speed and Smoothness

The X1 is also one of the fastest 3D printers on the market. It can print speeds of up to 500mm/s, which is significantly faster than most other 3D printers. Additionally, the X1 produces very smooth prints, with minimal layer lines. This makes it ideal for printing objects that require a high level of detail.

Other Features

The X1 also comes with a number of other features that make it a great choice for 3D printers, including:

  • A large build volume (256mm x 256mm x 256mm )
  • A heated bed
  • A touchscreen display
  • A built-in camera
  • A variety of safety features

Conclusion

The Bambu Lab X1 is a next-generation 3D printer that offers a range of features and benefits that make it ideal for both beginners and experienced users alike. With its automatic bed leveling system, ability to print with multiple colors and materials, and high speed and smoothness, the X1 is the perfect 3D printer for anyone who wants to create high-quality prints quickly and easily.

If you are searching for the X1-Carbon: what to buy now

The X1-Carbon was the printer that made Bambu Lab a serious name — 256 mm cube, CoreXY speed, lidar-assisted first-layer inspection and the AMS multi-colour system. It reached end of life on 31 March 2026 and is no longer manufactured. If you arrived here looking for one to buy, the honest answer is that new stock has gone, and the question is what replaces it.

Buy this Why Choose it when
Bambu Lab X2D The successor line: dual-nozzle, 300 °C hot end and a 65 °C actively heated chamber You want the closest thing to an X1-Carbon’s capability, with a heated chamber and two nozzles
Bambu Lab P2S Enclosed CoreXY, same 256 mm build volume, hardened steel extruder and nozzle, AMS 2 Pro with filament drying You want an enclosed machine for ABS and ASA, and value matters more than the dual-nozzle platform
Bambu Lab P1S Still a current model: enclosed chamber, 300 °C all-metal hot end, 20,000 mm/s² acceleration, AMS to 16 colours You want the most affordable enclosed printer in the range
Bambu Lab A1 Mini Open frame, 180 mm cube, plug-and-play Your parts are small and you print mostly PLA and PETG
CreatBot D600 Pro 2 / D1000 Large-format industrial frames with heated chambers Your parts do not fit a 256 mm cube

If you already own an X1-Carbon

The machine keeps working. Bambu Lab’s stated policy for discontinued models is continued spare-parts availability and service support rather than an immediate cut-off, and consumables — nozzles, build plates, AMS parts — remain the practical concern for owners. Talk to us about consumables and spares for machines still in service, and we will tell you what is currently available rather than guess.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Bambu Lab X1-Carbon discontinued?

Yes. It reached end of life on 31 March 2026 and is no longer manufactured by Bambu Lab. Its successor in the current line-up is the Bambu Lab X2D.

Can I still buy a new X1-Carbon in Malaysia?

No new units are being manufactured, so anything offered as new stock is old inventory. Our current range is on the Bambu Lab brand page.

What replaced the X1-Carbon?

The X2D — a dual-nozzle printer with a 300 °C nozzle and an actively heated 65 °C chamber. Where the X1-Carbon’s appeal was lidar-assisted confidence, the X2D’s is two nozzles plus chamber control.

Is the X1-Carbon still supported?

Bambu Lab’s policy for discontinued machines is continued spare parts and service support rather than an immediate end. Ask us about the specific part or consumable you need and we will give you the current position.

Should I buy a P2S or an X2D instead?

If your priority is an enclosed printer for ABS and ASA work at the best value, the P2S. If you want a heated chamber and the ability to run two nozzles — support material or two materials in one print — the X2D. Tell us what you print and we will say which one fits.

Do you take X1-Carbon machines in part exchange?

Not as a formal programme. Talk to us if you are replacing a working machine — we will advise on the practical options rather than promise something we cannot deliver.
