Creatlabs is the high-end industrial additive manufacturing brand of CreatBot, dedicated to the next
generation of large-format, high-performance, production-grade FFF systems. It is built on advanced linear motor motion,
intelligent operation features and industrial-grade reliability — the platform behind the D1200 Ultra and the larger
D1200 Ultra.
FFF 2.0 is the step change those two machines represent: higher print speeds, assembly-ready precision and
production-grade batch consistency. That is what turns FFF 3D printing from a prototyping tool into a production
platform for low-volume, scalable manufacturing.
On this site the D1200 Ultra sits in the CreatBot range — Creatlabs is its manufacturing brand,
and every Creatlabs reference on this page is the manufacturer's own platform name.
Creatlabs Ultra machines running side by side in a production hall — the platform is designed for

Mag-Lev Linear Motors: Size, Speed and Precision
Belt- and screw-driven machines force a choice between speed, accuracy and part size. The D1200 Ultra
removes the trade-off with a direct-drive magnetic levitation motion system.
The linear motor carriage in motion — no belt stretch, no screw whip, no transmission friction to
compensate for.
1100 mm/s, 10 000 mm/s²
Maximum print speed of 1100 mm/s on a large-format gantry
Acceleration of 10 000 mm/s² without ringing artefacts
Linear motor drive — no mechanical transmission friction
Higher speeds with more precise motion control and better surface quality
Precision That Does Not Decay
±0.05 mm printing accuracy per 100 mm
Automatic calibration and real-time compensation
Accuracy held over years of production, not just at commissioning
Designed around a decade of reliable manufacturing duty
The mag-lev carriage and
linear guide: fewer moving interfaces, less to wear, and a motion envelope that does not change as the machine ages.
Never-Decaying Precision
Ultra precision of 0.05 mm per 100 mm comes from the motion system, not from slowing the machine down.
On the D1200 Ultra, automatic calibration and real-time compensation keep that figure stable while the machine runs
production jobs year after year.
X/Y positioning accuracy 0.001 mm, Z positioning accuracy 0.00052 mm
Independent Z-axis structure with an aviation aluminium plate and magnetic platform
Dimensional drift is what breaks jigs, fixtures and assembly fits — and it is what decides
whether a printed part is a prototype or a production component.

Eddy-Current Bed Leveling, 0.001 mm
Levelling a large plate by hand is the slowest and least repeatable step in large-format printing. The D1200 Ultra
scans the whole plate with high-frequency electromagnetic sensing — non-contact, zero wear and continuous,
so there is nothing to adjust by hand.

Single, Copy/Mirror and Batch
Three production strategies on one platform: one large part, mirrored duplicates, or a full plate
of identical parts for an assembly kit.
Single Print Mode
1200 × 1050 × 1050 mm for one large part, printed in one piece with no assembly or gluing.
Copy / Mirror Mode
Two identical or mirrored parts per job across a 600 × 1050 × 1050 mm field per nozzle.
Batch Print Mode
A plate of identical parts in one run — the same geometry, the same settings, the same result.
Copy Mode in Motion
A plate of duplicated parts completed in a single job — hover to play.
Open Material System
1.75 mm filament, a 420 °C hotend, a 120 °C bed and an 80 °C chamber —
with a built-in HEPA and activated-carbon filter, and no lock-in on whose spool you buy.
ABS parts coming off the machine — the 80 °C chamber is what makes shrinkage-sensitive
engineering materials predictable rather than experimental.
Nozzles from 0.3 to 1.0 mm (0.4 mm standard), run-out and clog
detection, and a filament drying function at up to 70 °C. Ask us for a print profile for your material
and part geometry.
Productivity That Changes the Economics
Lead time, outsourcing dependency and unit cost move together. On the D1200 Ultra a large ASA tool case prints in
about 45 hours and 52 kWh — where the legacy FFF route takes about 100 hours and 115 kWh for the
same job.
Daily output is 1–2 kg with a 0.4 mm nozzle and 2–5 kg with an
0.8 mm nozzle — the figure that decides how many machines a job needs.
A large part running in ASA — the material and quantity behind the cost comparison above.
Output, Not Samples
What comes off the plate decides whether the machine paid for itself. The D1200 Ultra is configured
for the parts a factory actually ships.
Serial Parts, One Machine
Batches of functional engineering parts from a single platform
Assembly-ready precision for multi-part kits
Same print profile across every plate in the run
No tooling lead time between design freeze and first part

Built for 7×24 Continuous Production
Supports 7×24 operation with a low failure rate, industrial-grade reliability and higher
equipment utilisation — the difference between a printer in a lab and capacity on a floor.

AIR-200 Air Filtration (sold separately)
AIR-200 is Creatlabs' high-efficiency air filtration system for industrial printing environments. It targets the
VOCs, ultrafine particles and odour released when printing engineering plastics and high-performance composites,
using a multi-stage filtration architecture to keep workshop air clean while the chamber holds its temperature.
Multi-stage filtration for VOCs, ultrafine particles and odour
Plug-and-play with the full CreatBot and Creatlabs industrial range
Mobile design — it can be moved to whichever cell needs it
Every D1200 Ultra already carries a built-in HEPA + activated carbon filter
For a workshop with several machines, the AIR-200 is usually specified with the machine, not after
the first complaint about smell.
D1200 Ultra and D1200 Ultra with an AIR-200 unit between them.
The AIR-200 sits beside the machine and
moves with the cell — filtration is a workshop decision, not a fixed installation.
Equipment Safety System
Electrical protection, interlocks and machine-level motion limits — the subsystems that let
you leave a job running.
Schneider electrical protection systems, a safety door interlock, chamber thermal
protection and three-layer chamber insulation are standard on the D1200 Ultra.
Printer Cluster Management
Once a machine becomes capacity, the question changes from "how does it print" to "what is every machine doing
right now". The cluster system shows the online, printing, idle, paused and error state of the whole fleet in one
place, with device IP search and group management.

Creatlabs D1200 Ultra — FAQs
What is the difference between CreatBot and Creatlabs?
Creatlabs is the high-end industrial additive manufacturing brand of CreatBot. The D1200 Ultra and D800 Ultra are the Creatlabs Ultra series, built on the FFF 2.0 linear-motor platform; the D400 HS, D600 Pro3 HS and D1000 Pro HS remain the CreatBot HS series on the belt-driven platform. Both are supplied and supported in Malaysia by Trinventor Solution.
How large a part can the D1200 Ultra print?
1200 × 1050 × 1050 mm in single-nozzle mode, the same 1200 × 1050 × 1050 mm when both nozzles are in use, and 600 × 1050 × 1050 mm per side in mirror duplication mode. Large housings, tooling, jigs and full assembly covers can be printed in one piece without gluing.
What does the mag-lev linear motor change in practice?
It removes the belt and screw transmission, so there is no stretch, whip or friction to compensate for. The result is 1100 mm/s printing with 10 000 mm/s² acceleration that still holds ±0.05 mm per 100 mm accuracy, and accuracy that does not decay as the machine ages.
Which materials can it run?
PLA, ABS, ASA, PETG, PC, Nylon, TPU, PP and the carbon- and glass-filled grades including PA-CF, PC-CF, PET-CF, PPS-CF and UltraPA-CF. The 420 °C hotend, 120 °C bed and 80 °C chamber are what make the engineering grades practical rather than experimental. The material system is open — any quality 1.75 mm filament will run.
How is the large build plate levelled?
With eddy-current sensing: a non-contact scan of the whole plate at 0.001 mm probing accuracy, completing in about 60 seconds. XY offset is set by HD camera with AI recognition (0.02 mm) and Z offset by a snap-action switch (0.005 mm), so the setup is fully automatic.
Can it run unattended overnight?
Yes. The D1200 Ultra is built for 7×24 operation with run-out and clog detection, dual-nozzle auto resume, safety door interlock, thermal and motion protection, a physical Wi-Fi switch and remote camera monitoring. The cluster system lets you watch a fleet rather than one machine.
What does it cost to run per part?
On the manufacturer's reference job — an ASA tool case with top cover and bottom housing, 1.2 kg of material — printing takes about 45 hours and 52 kWh, against roughly 100 hours and 115 kWh on the legacy FFF route. Material cost is around US$39 with about US$5 of electricity at US rates. Local rates differ; we will calculate your case with you.
What power and floor space does it need?
220–240 V, 50–60 Hz, 14 600 W rated. The machine measures 1480 × 1080 × 1280 mm and weighs 370 kg, so it needs a solid, level floor and reasonable clearance for the door and service access. We check siting and power during the site survey.
How much does the Creatlabs D1200 Ultra cost in Malaysia?
The price depends on configuration: nozzle set, AIR-200 filtration, spare kit, plus delivery, installation, commissioning and operator training. Enquire Now and we will send a complete Malaysian figure with lead time.
Can I see the D1200 Ultra running before I buy?
We do not keep a D1200 Ultra demonstration unit in Malaysia. Instead we arrange a visit to a machine already in production at a reference customer site, or a factory visit at CreatBot, and we can review production parts and process data with you remotely before you commit. Smaller CreatBot models such as the D1000 Pro HS, D600 Pro3 HS and D400 HS are easier to see in person if a hands-on comparison helps.
