FF-M300 — Dual-Laser Metal 3D Printer (SLM/LPBF) for Dentistry & Industry | Malaysia

The FastForm FF-M300 is a production-class metal 3D printer built to deliver high throughput for industrial manufacturers in Malaysia. With two 500 W continuous fiber lasers and precision optics, it accelerates build times while maintaining part quality. Pair it with FastForm’s integrated FastLayer (nesting/slicing) and FastFab (printer control) software for a streamlined, one-click workflow from setup to print.

Two build options to fit your work:

  • 300 × 300 × 400 mm — optimised for high-volume dental frameworks, crowns, and bridges.

Why FF-M300

  • Throughput with quality: Dual 500 W lasers and high-precision galvanometers boost speed while preserving detail and dimensional accuracy. Scan speeds up to 10,000 mm/s, layer thickness 20–50 µm, and beam (spot) size 50–80 µm support fine features and smooth surfaces.

  • Open materials: Print CoCr, titanium/pure Ti, plus stainless steel, aluminium, and nickel alloys, supported by a built-in parameter database.

  • Clean, stable operation: Inert N₂/Ar protection, water cooling, permanent filtration (design life ≤30,000 hrs), and magnetic quick-mount baseplate enhance reliability in Malaysia’s humid conditions.

  • Operator-friendly: Integrated camera for safe, real-time monitoring; complete print logs for traceability and QA.

Key Specifications (highlights)

  • Lasers: Dual 500 W CW fiber lasers

  • Build volume: 300 × 300 × 400 mm

  • Layer thickness: 20–50 µm | Beam size: 50–80 µm | Scan speed: 0–10,000 mm/s

  • Gases: Nitrogen / Argon | Cooling: Water-cooled | Filtering: Permanent filter (≤30k hrs)

  • Software: FastLayer & FastFab with one-click typesetting/path planning

Typical Malaysian applications: dental frameworks/crowns & bridges,  fixtures & tooling, R&D coupons, and small-batch production.

h1

FastLayer Slicing Software

Backed by 8 years of in-house R&D, FastLayer is purpose-built for dental and industrial metal AM. It automates print prep with one-click nesting/typesetting and toolpath planning, so you can move from design to build in minutes.

  • Flexible setup: Customise build-plate size; robustly handles complex models.

  • Broad file support: STL, OBJ, STEP, 3MF, and common CAD formats.

  • Optimised parameters: Integrated database for multiple metal powders. Supports user-defined and custom parameter sets.

h2

Consistency You Can Trust
Engineered gas circulation and a next-gen permanent filter system stabilise the chamber. Superior sealing minimises gas ingress, and rigorous laser beam quality control delivers uniform energy density—print after print.

h3

High Productivity

A dual-laser system and large build chamber drive serious throughput.

The permanent filtration system means zero consumable cost, zero replacements, zero risk of filter-related downtime. An LFPT-optimised recoating strategy further boosts print speed.

h4

FastFab

FastFab delivers a clean, intuitive interface with a well-structured layout and all the tools you need in one place. Its user-friendly, step-by-step workflow and simple controls make it easy to pick up—most users master the basics in 5–10 minutes. Snappy performance and responsive interactions keep jobs smooth and uninterrupted, while guided operations help prevent errors, saving time and protecting print quality.

h5

High Precision Printing

A small laser spot and fine layer thickness deliver crisp detail and consistent dimensional accuracy for high-quality parts. Intelligent powder recoating and high-speed scanning accelerate builds without compromising results, while optimised scan-path strategies maintain excellent surface finish and repeatable quality.

h6

Real Time Monitoring

Built-in camera for easy, real-time print monitoring with zero risk of laser exposure.

FF-M300: what it is for, and what to check before buying

The FF-M300 is a production-class metal printer: two 500 W fibre lasers over a 300 × 300 × 400 mm build, laying 20–50 µm layers to an accuracy of about ±0.05 mm. In practice that means throughput — two lasers working the same build — which is what makes it a fit for high-volume dental frameworks, crowns and bridges as well as industrial parts.

Two things worth checking before you commit. Materials: the machine runs open powders, so cobalt-chrome, titanium, stainless and nickel alloys are all available to you rather than tied to one supplier. Running cost: the filtration is a permanent filter rated for the life of the machine, which removes the recurring consumable that catches people out on metal systems.

Frequently asked questions

What materials can the FF-M300 print?

Open-parameter powders including cobalt-chrome, titanium, stainless steel and nickel alloys. Because the parameters are open, you are not locked to a single material supplier.

How big a part does it build?

300 × 300 × 400 mm, with layer thickness from 20 to 50 µm and a spot size of 50–80 µm.

Why two lasers?

Throughput. Two 500 W fibre lasers share the build, which is what makes high-volume dental frameworks and batch industrial parts economic on one machine rather than spread across several.

Is it suitable for a dental laboratory?

Yes — that is one of its strongest uses. The build chamber suits high-volume frameworks, crowns and bridges, and the one-click nesting and slicing in FastLayer keeps print preparation quick and repeatable.

What are the running costs?

The filter is a permanent system rated for the machine’s life rather than a consumable to replace, and the chamber gas is nitrogen or argon with oxygen controlled to 0.01%. Ask us about powder supply and service when we quote.

What does the FF-M300 cost in Malaysia?

Quoted per configuration, since the package depends on the materials you will run and the software and support you need. Tell us the application and we will quote against it.
