The EinScan-SP V2 is a powerful and versatile desktop 3D scanner that is perfect for prosumers. It is able to capture the geometry of small to medium size objects in three dimensions with high accuracy and detail. The EinScan-SP uses structured light technology and offers two 3D capture modes: Fixed Scan and Auto Scan.

Auto Scan Mode

In Auto Scan mode, the object is placed on a turntable with markers and the mounted scanner automatically captures data from a 360° angle. This mode is fast and easy to use, making it ideal for scanning a large number of objects or objects with simple geometries.

The EinScan-SP V2, and what to buy now

Superseded model. This was a desktop structured-light scanner with a turntable: fixed and automatic capture modes, single-shot accuracy of 0.05 mm, a scan volume up to 200 × 200 × 200 mm and full-colour texture. It is no longer current stock. Depending on what you were going to do with it, the route has split in two.

Is the EinScan-SP V2 discontinued?

Yes — it is no longer current stock from us, and the desktop role is now filled by the AutoScan Inspec2.

What was the SP V2 good at?

Small to medium objects on a turntable, in colour, without an operator holding anything: 0.05 mm single-shot accuracy, point distance around 0.17–0.2 mm, and automatic 360° capture.

Should I buy a desktop scanner or a handheld now?

It depends whether the object can reach the machine. A desktop machine is faster and more repeatable for small parts; a handheld is the only option for large, installed or awkward objects. We usually settle this by scanning your part both ways during a demonstration.

Can I still get support for an SP V2?

What does the current desktop model cost in Malaysia?

The AutoScan Inspec2 is quoted per configuration, depending on the parts, the tolerances and the inspection reporting you need. Send us a part and we will quote against it.
