The E-Plus 3D EP-M150 Dental is a compact industrial 3D printer that uses selective laser melting (SLM) technology to produce high-precision metal parts. It is specifically designed for digital dentistry, but it can also be used for other applications, such as medical, jewelry, and scientific research. The EP-M150 Dental has a smaller build volume height and a 200W laser option (single or dual). This makes it ideal for printing small dental parts, such as crowns, bridges, and surgical guides. It can also be used to print larger parts.
The EP-M150 Dental can print with a variety of metal and metal alloy powders, including cobalt-chromium, titanium, and stainless steel. This gives dentists the flexibility to choose the right material for each job. With  the improved powder feeding and sieving system enables a high material utilization rate, which is more than 550 crowns printed only by 1kg powder
The EP-M150 Dental boasts precision and reliability, thanks to its small laser spot and exclusive laser scanning path technology. This level of accuracy and repeatability is critical when producing custom medical devices for patients. To guarantee safe and dependable performance, the printer features a tightly sealed build chamber and maintains oxygen levels below 100 ppm throughout the printing process, which is continuously monitored in real time.
With a scanning speed of up to 8 m/s and an optimized recoating strategy, this printer ensures efficient operation while minimizing production time. Additionally, its modular design simplifies maintenance procedures and reduces potential downtime.
Enhancements in the powder feeding and sieving system, along with a gas consumption rate below 0.2 L/min, make the EP-M150 Dental a cost-effective solution for a wide range of applications.
